Create & Manage Rooms

Add rooms to your project and keep items organised by space.

Organising items by room

Rooms are the simplest way to keep a project tidy. Kitchen tiles in one place, bedroom furniture in another. You can create as many rooms as you need.

Open your project

From the dashboard, click into the project you want to organise.

Add a room

Scroll to the bottom of the items list and click Add room. Type a name — "Kitchen", "Master Bedroom", "Hallway" — and hit enter or click Create Room.

Add items to a room

Click the + button on a room header to add a new item directly into that room. Or drag existing items from "Unassigned Items" into the room.

Rename or delete a room

Click the three-dot menu (⋮) on any room header. You'll see options to Rename or Delete Room. Deleting a room moves its items back to unassigned.

Collapse rooms you're not working on

Click the chevron (›) next to a room name to collapse it. Keeps things clean when you're focused on one space.
Set up your rooms before a sourcing session so you can assign items to the right room directly from the Chrome extension.
