View Modes
Switch between Normal, Compact, and Grid layouts for your items.
Choosing how items are displayed
Different tasks call for different views. Reviewing a full project? Grid gives you the visual overview. Checking off orders? Compact keeps it tight. Focalist has three view modes you can switch between instantly.

Find the view toggle
In the project header, look for the view mode button — it shows the icon of the current mode. Click it to cycle through the three options.

Normal view
The default. Each item gets a card with image, name, brand, price, quantity, and action buttons. Good for detailed review and editing.

Compact view
Everything on one line — image thumbnail, name, price, quantity, and status badges. Great for long lists and quick scanning.

Grid view
A visual grid with large image previews. Name and price overlay each card. Perfect for moodboarding and presenting to clients.
The view mode applies to the whole project — all rooms switch together. Your choice persists while you're in the project.
