Move items between rooms, edit assignments, and merge duplicates.
Moving items between rooms
Clipped something into the wrong room? Changed your mind about where that lamp goes? No problem — items are easy to move around.

Drag and drop
Hover over an item card to reveal the drag handle (the dotted icon on the left). Grab it and drag the item into a different room. Drop it and it's moved.

Edit the assignment
Alternatively, click the three-dot menu (⋮) on an item and select Edit. Change the room from the dropdown and save.
Merging duplicate items
Clipped the same product twice? Focalist detects duplicates and offers to merge them.

Spot the merge suggestion
When duplicates are detected, a banner appears in the room: "[Item Name] appears [count] times".

Merge or dismiss
Click Merge to combine the duplicates into one item, or Dismiss if you intentionally have multiples (e.g., ordering the same chair for different rooms).
Merging keeps the most complete data — if one copy has notes and the other has a price, the merged item gets both.
